Los Medanos College students are never alone on their educational journey. With a team of success coaches at the ready, students have someone to guide them on pathways aligned with their areas of interest. Success coaches focus on five pathways: behavioral science and social science; arts, humanities, and communication; business, manufacturing, and transportation; health and public service; and STEM.

“Our goal is to ensure students have someone they trust to provide direction as they explore areas of interest and build the credits they need to graduate,” Vice President of Student Service Tanisha Maxwell said. “Success coaches enhance a robust support system LMC has built, including academic counselors, learning communities, student clubs, and even free telehealth and mental health services.”
